Hope everyone had a great and safe Halloween this year. Connor was the hulk. Cooper was the scarecrow. We went to a local neighborhood to trick or treat. Around in the South, most people make their own hay rides, attach a trailer to a 4-wheeler or a tractor, and drive the kids around the neighborhood. When I was a child, we went to any one's house, even strangers. It didn't matter, we knew they could be trusted. Those were the good old days. It's fun though, to go to houses of people that you know. We had such a good time on our hayride. This particular neighborhood goes all out for Halloween. I'll post some pictures of their decorations on another day. The grown up girls are some of my friends from work, the girl with the blond wig, well she said she was "white trash". Then there's the "Harley Chick". And last but not least, the "disco diva", and her husband had on a huge Afro wig. Hilarious! Hope you enjoyed my pics!!

Off to the land of Disney!!

We're off to Disneyworld today. Thank the Lord we are flying. There will be lots of posts about it when we get back. Pray for us that we'll have a safe trip. I'm 33 years old and have never been to Disney. All I want to do is get my picture made with Cinderella & Snow White. LOL! It's the only place where you can really turn into a kid again.!!
I've Been Tagged

We had Christmas Dinner that day, and everything turned out exceptionally well, believe it or not. I couldn't imagine what could have happened with Cooper, and Connor, who was just across the hall. We were surely blessed that Christmas Day. It will be one that we'll never forget!!

Connor's Past Halloween/Fall Pics using Scrapblog...

I didn't want to leave Connor out of the Halloween/Fall pics, so I made him a Scrapblog page as well. Everyone will probably get tired of me using this website, but it is so totally addicting and fun!! I highly recommend it. In the lion costume, Connor had just turned a year old. In the middle picture, it was the first time we took him to the pumpkin patch. He tried so hard to pick up that big pumpkin! It was almost as big as he was. The last picture was a fall display that we put up every year at our old house... He was too cute to pose for me in that picture. Have a great fall day!!

We Did It!
October 10, 2008

Chad & I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary this past weekend, by renewing our wedding vows on the beach at sunset. It's something we've always talked about that we would like to do, but never really took it seriously. I am lucky enough to have a very dear friend, Heather, whose dad has on condo on the beach at Gulf Shores, AL. She let us stay at the condo for the weekend. I totally surprised Chad, and kept it a secret up until the very last minute. My mom and I with Cooper, went down to Gulf Shores on Thursday night, to get settled. Chad & his mom, and Connor drove down on Friday afternoon. We renewed our vows on a beautiful beach at Gulf State Park, in Orange Beach, not far from Gulf Shores. The beach in front of the condo was beautiful, but the tide is so high right now, there just wasn't much beach left. It was wonderful, and the sunset provided a breathtakingly beautiful backdrop for our pictures. My most favorite picture of all is the one of Connor, standing there smiling, looking at his mommy & daddy. He looks so happy! I will try to share more beach pics during the week. The National Shrimp Festival was going on this past weekend too. It sure was a sight to see. I'll try to post some pics of that as well during the coming week. Hope you all have had a happy Monday. Take Care!
