A few of my new favorite Christmas things....

Some of my NEW favorite things....the first picture is some picture frames that I put scrapbook paper in. I have yet to get my husband up in the attic to get out my 9 million boxes of Christmas things...so I will dress them up later. The second is some cheap, tins that I got for 75% off at the dollar store back during the summer. I decided to go crazy with the scrapbook paper again and cover the tins, and spell out PEACE, JOY, NOEL. I don't know if I'll leave them on my mantel, but for right now, that's where they'll stay. The last is a beautiful platter that I found at the giftshop in the hospital that I work in. I love the boldness of it's colors, and also all the words around the edges, referring to the birth of Jesus. Isn't it beautiful? I have many many favorite things, but these are some that are new to my collection this year. For more favorite Christmas things, visit Sarah at Thrifty Decor Chick. Have a great day!!

So was 75 percent off at the dollar store only 25 cents?? :) Everything is adorable, and that platter is my favorite! I used to work in a hospital and LOVED shopping at the gift shop. They had the best, unique items there.

I love finding old and new favorites! I like what you did with the frames and the scrapbook paper. The plate is nice. I was noticing the writing on your header the other day.

I feel like I have 9 bazillion boxes myself but my husband only brought down 8 boxes.

take care,
Dawn

Just surfing and stumbled upon your blog. Are you in Mobile? I was in Hudson's there over the weekend and found lots of great stuff! I'm in Bham but originally from Mobile. I'm going to have to stalk the hospitals in the area to find that platter! I love, love, LOVE it!
