Trash to Treasure: Vintage Chair

Well, I don't know about ya'll but I think this is a nifty vintage chair. It has been in my garage since August, because no one bought it from our garage sale that we had. It belonged to Chad's mom. I'm not really sure where she got it, and I remember commenting on it one day when I went over to her house. She brought it over for the garage sale, but it didn't sale. So, needless to say, it's been taking up space in our garage. One day on a whim, I decided to bring that vintage chair inside, for some extra seating. I think with some pillows I could really spruce it up a bit. It's a really comfortable chair. One day I would love t o recover it, but not sure that's a project I can handle right now. LOL. Happy Trash to Treasure Tuesday ! You can find more trash to treasure finds on my mom's blog: A Picture is Worth 1,000 Words.

I really like the good classic lines of the chair. The color is not bad either....with the right throw or pillows!

Thanks for doing a Trash to Treasure post!

Hi Kelli...I didn't realize Diane was your Mom...how cool is that! Well, I love her so I know I will love you and your blog, too! Great chair, btw. You know who could give you some tips on reupholstering is Rose over at A Santamaker's Journery...she's on my blogroll. She reupholsters and I think she taught herself. I'd love to be able to do that, too. Susan
