Help Please!! Need New Template

Hey Ya'll

Just wondering if any of you could give me some advice on how to change my template. I did a google search, and found a couple that I like, but couldn't figure out what to do past that. I'm fairly new to blogging, and not too sure how to go about changing things around on my blog. Any information or help would be greatly appreciated. Something simple would be great!! Thanks!

Hey Kelli
I see you've added some stuff to your blog! I know how to help you change it, but when I changed mine, I lost everything I'd added but my posts. So maybe someone else will come along that can help you!
Love,
Mama

Hey sweetie...I don't know much but here is what I did...I downloaded and saved my old template....then I clicked on customize and clicked new template...scrolled down and picked the one that says minima & saved..then I went to that web site (cutesat blog on the block.com)just click on my blog at the top left corner and it will take you there...they have free downloads...just follow instructions and find one and hightlight and copy then go back to your blog and click add a page element...click on the HTML box and left click on the content box and then right click and click paste and save...you should be able to view your blog and see it there...then you just customize and change your fonts and colors of lettering like you want...I'm sorry I don't know a decent way to give directions for this but maybe you can understand it especially once you go there..good luck.

Hi Kelli,
I agree with Picket. Cutest blog on the block is a great place to start. Great templates and they are free. They walk you thru everything. Give them a try. I went with them and love them. If you have questions, just let me know.

Picket gave the advice I would give you. I already had mimina so I saved that step.

I'm looking forward to seeing what you do.

take care,
Dawn

Hello,
I was also gonna recommend cutest blog on the block, too. The site has free backgrounds, and easy to follow instructions for blogger. Hope this helps!

Hi Kelli, I don't know how some of these people get different backgrounds from fabric pieces they see on the internet...I have tried that and I can't do it...I did the same thing picket did...and it works good...Nancy

Not sure how I got here. Something with a recipe from a Darlene I think.... :):)
Anyway, your boys are too cute and
I hear you about template frustration. I have helped some of my friends with their blogs and am in the process of doing 2 right now. If you need any help let me know I'd be more than happy to lend a hand.
Well off I go to find that recipe I came here for. :)

Hi Kelli,
Thanks for posting about this because I've been wondering the same thing. I've wanted a three column template and had no idea how to go about doing it. After reading these comments on your blog last night, I was able to go to Cutest Blog on the Block which led me to this site http://tips-for-new-bloggers.blogspot.com/ where I was able to find and follow step-by-step instructions to get my new template. It worked! Thanks again.
