Hope you all are having a Happy New Year's Day! The Southern tradition is that we eat black-eyed peas, and usually something green such as cabbage, or collard greens. The black-eyed peas are for luck, and the greens are for more $. Today we are going to Chad's mom's to have black-eyed peas, homemade hashbrowns, cornbread, and a roast. I'm looking foward to it. She's a great cook. It's always better to eat something someone else cooks, right? Now onto the giveaway. Please visit Susie at http://susieharris.blogspot.com/. She has these beautiful, hand painted signs that she makes, with the most wonderful sayings. Check out her Etsy shop while visiting her blog. It just opened! She's having a giveaway, so be sure to comment, and check out the featured item!
